One of the top questions our tour guides hear every day is “Where do Free Plovdiv Tour visitors come from?”. In the beginning of 2020 we shared with you an insight into our visitors from unusual destinations. Today we will look into the statistics of 2023 and share with you the top 5 countries which graced our tours, as well as some fun discoveries we made. So, if you are feeling curious – join us in our exploration of the diverse tapestry of people who visited FPT in the past year.

#1 Spain

In the past year Spain took the lead in contributing to the kaleidoscope of cultures on our tours. There were many guests from the vibrant land of flamenco and paella! From the passionate Andalusian spirit to the artistic vibrancy of Barcelona, our Spanish guests added a touch of fiesta to every step of our journey.

#2 United Kingdom

Close behind, the United Kingdom graced our tours with its diverse traditions. Our British guests brought a much appreciated sense of humor to the cobbled streets of Plovdiv. The eclectic mix of accents and the age-old rivalry between coffee and tea made every tour an unforgettable experience.

#3 United States

Тhe land of the free added a dash of exuberance to our tours. Our American guests embraced the spirit of adventure and discovery in our millenia-old cosmopolitan hometown. In turn, they contributed many fun stories from their travels, as well as endless laughter, and a shared joy of exploration.

Hailing from the heart of Europe, German guests brought their trademark punctuality and curiosity to our tours. Berliners, Bremeners, Saxonians and Bavarians alike painted for us a vivid picture of the EU country. While in the cultural capital of Bulgaria, they were introduced to the ailyak plovdivean spirit.

From the ancient streets of Jerusalem to the vibrant markets of Tel Aviv, our Israeli guests added a layer of historical depth and modern flair to our tours. They participated in numerous fascinating conversations and helped us create unforgettable memories.
